A1: Typically, the lead time is between 25 to 45 days. Simple molds can take 20-25 days, while complex, multi-cavity, or high-life molds may require 50 days or more. A detailed schedule is provided upon project kick-off.
A2: We follow a strict T1 process including a dry run, full Inspection Reports, and CMM Reports for critical dimensions. Sampling only begins once parts are dimensionally stable.
A3: We accept 3D files such as STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), and native CAD formats (SolidWorks, UG/NX). For 2D drawings, PDF or DWG formats are required.
A4: Absolutely. We provide a free Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Report to analyze wall thickness, draft angles, gate locations, and potential sink marks.
A5: We work with a wide range of thermoplastics including ABS, PC, PP, PA (Nylon), POM, PMMA, TPE/TPU, and high-temperature plastics like PPS and LCP.
A6: Standard terms are 50% deposit for mold making, 40% upon sample approval, and the remaining 10% before shipping. Mass production usually requires T/T before shipment.
